Individual Consultations with Lark Lands
Lark Lands does
over-the-phone individual health
The ultimate aim of doing the consults is to assist each person in creating and fine-tuning an individualized, integrated program based on each person's particular needs, and ensure that each person has a full understanding of all the components of an aggressive, comprehensive, integrated approach to HIV. The intent of the consult is to help each person narrow down the flood of HIV information into a carefully designed program that is individualized specifically for them. This website (www.larklands.net) can provide a base of information that will make the consult more profitable since it has specifics on antioxidants, amino acids, and other nutrients needed for healthy, long-term survival, along with information on countering drug side effects and other symptoms.
Based on the case history and other information given to her either in advance or during the consult, Lark will discuss with each person the components that should be considered for a total approach, including the nutrients and other therapeutics that might be appropriate for that person, whether the goal is addressing current problems or simply creating a long-term health maintenance plan, along with recommendations for discussions with the person's physician about any drug or medical care issues. NOTE: no medical recommendations can or will be made. Those are appropriately obtained only from your physician.
Please be aware that if you have already done a consult in the past, it is terribly important to update your information on a regular basis. The world of AIDS changes incredibly rapidly, information on nutrient needs and cellular deficiencies is accruing at a very rapid rate, and any information that is more than 4-6 months old must be considered terribly dated. If your last consult was more than four months ago, a followup would probably be a good idea.
If you wish to use your consult time more efficiently, it would be helpful if you would fill out the following "Health History Form" and email it to Lark in advance.
Otherwise, it would be helpful to be prepared to give this information during the consult.
Consults must usually be scheduled between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 P.M. Mountain Time, (that's 4-7:00 PM Eastern, 3-6:00 PM Central, 1-4:00 PM Pacific), on Monday through Friday only. Initial consults usually take approximately 45 minutes with follow-ups sometimes much shorter. The fee for any consult is simply based on the time required, with a cost of $25 per quarter hour. Payment can be made via personal check or money order.
If you have no access to email, your request for a consult and your information can be faxed to: 303-569-0784 or mailed to the following address: PO Box 728, Georgetown, CO 80444. Be sure to include a cover page or statement that includes your name and contact information, preferably an email address and phone number. However, please note that emailing your information via the form above is greatly preferable so please do that, if possible. For those who have no computers of their own, almost all community libraries now offer free access to email.
